Bring your Instagram Photos to Life
If you're anything like me you'll have agonized over your hundreds of well thought out, carefully taken photos with that perfect Instagram filter. I can honestly say my most favorite photographs are the ones on my Instagram account and it's lovely that I can share them online - so why do I feel like they're unreachable, away from me in a digital world?
Artwork and photography by Jenny Bowes
Sure, they're on display to my dedicated Instagram followers but what about those closest to me, visiting my home? Whose Nan is on Instagram? And I'm sure if anyone actually checked, there would be a whole bunch of their nearest and dearest who didn't know they were such a smashing photographer!

So I've decided how important it is to display my lovely Instagram pictures away from the online bubble - maybe you have too? - and I've found just the ticket.

An Image Block was the perfect way to bring my Instagram pictures to life, the 25mm acrylic square block stands by itself and is a beautiful, modern, robust photo frame alternative. Something that can be passed around, admired and then placed back in its spot so easily is exactly what I needed, in fact I'm thinking one might not be enough - why not turn my home into a bigger, more fabulous version of my Instagram page!

Obviously I could have put any of my photographs onto the block but I thought an Instagram square would look super smart, well proportioned and would easily fit into any room I choose. I love the thought of my photograph being passed around the house travelling to a brand new spot whilst being admired talked about - I could have a whole team of interchangeable photographs, why stop at one?

My Instagram feed tells a story and half of the appeal is the narrative in a group of photographs. My block design doesn't just bring my pictures to life, it brings my story to life. I have chosen numerous photographs of my handsome nephew, which fit together perfectly in that Instagram block style - what better story than the first years of his life?

Now the whole family wants an image block, so that's Christmas sorted for me this year! I can't blame them really, the block will look just beautiful displayed anywhere - smart enough to sit on a relatives mantelpiece, yet fun enough to decorate my nephews bedroom. Perfect.

London College of Fashion Manifestation at Village Underground Shoreditch

Ltd Limited was commissioned by London College of Fashion to personalise the venue walls with Street-Wrap graphics and really bring the place to life. We think you'll agree that this specification was not only met - it was surpassed - something we love to do at Ltd.

Village Underground venue is a favorite of ours, the interesting brickwork in the old archways create a fantastic canvas for our Street-Wrap graphics.
A London College of Fashion Underground party. A Graduate celebration.

Our Street-Wrap graphics are created from a unique material which bonds to any textured surface, creating the most fantastic effects. Due to the variety of canvas, no two of these jobs have been the same - there's nothing like a bit of variety to keep things exciting! Here the vinyl was heated to brickwork and has confirmed to the shape perfectly. The overall effect was the perfect backdrop for an arty, buzzy event full of creatives from the London College of Fashion.

Street-Wrap graphics – a perfect fit to any wall with great results.
The artwork itself was designed by student Nadine Tsianta, BA (Hons) Fashion Design and Realisation, so really was a bespoke piece. Nadine captured the essence of the fashion college perfectly in her design and it's always so enjoyable to work with such inspiring young creatives.

Nadine Tsianta’s eye catching artwork, brought to life with Street-Wrap graphics
The event was a roaring success, with an array of fashion designs to see and even a Kia Fuel Cell vehicle with wraps designed by Ilona Spruge. Her design was applied onto an ix35 Fuel Cell vehicle, which will be paraded around London whilst chauffeuring VIPs to London College of Fashion shows.

The winning car design by Ilona Spruge.

Jessica Saunders, Programme Director of Flexible Learning at London College of Fashion was thrilled with the results "LCF and LtdLimited have an established relationship and have worked on many successful, well executed projects. The LCF Graduate Summit was no exception with bold Street-Wrap graphics bringing student artwork alive"

Another great job by the Ltd team!

Back 2 the Trenches - Mud Run
Following on from the success of our GCC pulse activities - a bid to keep the Ltd team as fit, healthy and active as possible. Some of our staff decided to take their fitness routines one step further and conquer the grueling - but exciting – Mud Run, raising money for the wonderful Haven House Children's Hospice in the process.
Clean and mud free before the race. From left to right: Pat, Stuart and Craig
Little Daisy came along to support dad Craig. Definitely the teams most adorable fan
Held in the Surrey countryside by the aptly named ‘Back 2 the Trenches’, this challenge takes runners on an adventure through mud, water, climbs, falls, wire, fire, extreme obstacles and the unexpected. It’s the natural obstacles that set this challenge aside from the rest and our fantastic team powered through to the end - as only the brave do - cementing the absolute dedication and willpower of a Ltd employee.
Stuart leaving other competitors in the distance
Training for this event was not to be taken lightly, something Craig who has previously run the London Marathon, knew all too well. All three of our team put in the hours of training and on top of this Pat cycles to work regularly. The guys have smashed their fitness goals for our GCC Pulse challenge to date and look to continue in the same direction.
Sprinting to the finish line
Our hero's of the day, Stuart, Pat and Craig have literally taken the arduous 12k terrain in their stride - finishing in excellent time. No hill is too high and no mud pit too deep for these guys, we would like to applaud their efforts and shout a massive WELL DONE from the rest of the Ltd team.
Happy to have finished
...and a well deserved rest.

Seymour- a Zookeeper for the day!
Last Friday, Ltd owner Seymour Reeves was given the unique experience of becoming a Zookeeper for the day. Colchester Zoo is more than just a collection of animals, it is a centre for conservation and supports many projects around the world - working to protect endangered species! Colchester Zoo is also working to reduce, reuse and recycle its waste, limiting any contribution to landfill and educating visitors in the process.

Education has an extremely important role to play in conservation and protecting the planet. Seymour was interested, not only to learn about the animals but how the Zoo operates day to day.

The whole experience was so much more than just an enjoyable day at the zoo for our company founder. The focus was very much on conservation and notably environmental issues, something that Seymour embraces fully with Ltd. Raising our sustainability standards is something we at pride ourselves in and measures have been put in place to uphold these standards.

Ltd are moving away from the use of heavy solvent inks, thus limiting the VOCs (volatile organic compounds) present, as these chemicals use solvents as a carrier before evaporating into the air we breath. Cotton-based paper is used for wall coverings saving many trees in the process while providing a high quality base for equally high quality prints - colours appear richer and deeper on fabrics woven from cotton compared with synthetics. Finally, the company has been experimenting with 100% recycled rigid boards for mounting services. It's safe to say, Ltd are always moving forward, implementing and improving procedures. Not only to make our clients happy but to make the planet happy too.

See the world through metallic tinted glass...

Ltd Limited has always been ahead of the game. Using state of the art Epson printers, Ltd is the first company in the UK to invest in the 10 colour SureColor SC-S70600, which supports white and metallic ink simultaneously. This new technology allows Ltd to really push the boundaries and create some of the most stunning precision print manifestations ever seen.

Ltd understands the potential of a job, James Everett, Digital Manager states “We are on the cutting edge when it comes to experimenting with new medias”. The metallic and white inks are able to create gradients that you just couldn’t get beforehand and the sheer size of the printer means flowing panels of impressive graphics look perfect every time. “No Compromise”.

The metallic printing methods are so precise you can trust that they will look great on any window, even against the most vivid sunlight. The effects are simply incredible. “The position of the gradients, to how metallic an area would be, to the opacity of white, to the translucence of the transparency of the graphics” Everything is taken into consideration and in true form, Ltd will surpass all expectations.

In Print Monthly Phil McMullin lists Ltd as one of his favourite applications of Epson printing technology, saying “Ltd Limited [that] produces fantastic manifestations with metallic ink for offices and interiors for companies such as Rolls Royce”

Yes! Rolls Royce…

Silvering felt like the perfect method to use for Rolls Royce. Technical Director Seymour Reeves states, "They wanted to see what could be achieved and to make the project extra special. We felt we could bring to their customer base the feeling that they were in an environment specific to Rolls Royce... It’s about creating exactly what our client has asked us to no compromises and they were absolutely blown away with the results"

Rolls Royce was a specialist job requiring fantastic results, results that could be delivered through Ltd’s understanding of what can be achieved with their specialist equipment. The right team of people were brought together to create exactly what the client had asked for and deliver a job they could all be proud of.

Silvering creates an incredible effect, tailored to the look and feel of the Rolls Royce brand, giving a truly personalised finish.

Where there’s a wall, there’s a way!

Here at Ltd Ltd we believe anything is possible. Clients approach us with all kinds of wonderful requests and we pride ourselves in an ability to solve any brief. After all; ‘We love a challenge, and live by the mantra ''We’ll find a way.''

So when a client approaches us with their brief for a short-term event or exhibition we approach the task with the same enthusiasm, excitement and high standards as any permanent or long term project.

Let us introduce you to Wallapeel™, a Ltd product that prints as beautifully as any other whilst saving time and money. Wallapeel’s unique properties allow it to be applied on the walls of listed buildings and other previously unusable walls, without damaging them in any way. Installed like a traditional wallpaper, Wallapeel will leave no marks or residue on your walls whatsoever.

Image 2 London College of Fashion Event at Il Bottaccio on Grosvenor Place

Take for example our London College of Fashion event. Held for one night only at the magnificent Il Bottaccio on Grosvenor Place, the venue stated you could not drill, mark or damage the walls. For the first time ever, Ltd adorned the previously untouched walls with Wallapeel artwork.

Speedy installment took place on the afternoon of the party and work was taken down by the client, in just half an hour that same evening. An example of when Wallapeel can really save the day!

The Monsters Inked exhibition at the Idea Generation Gallery was a ‘delightful opportunity for kids of all ages to check out some vibrant, cheeky and (above all) incredibly well executed art.’. An enormous 7m x 8m commissioned artwork by Pete Fowler was installed and removed, leaving no damage to the white gallery wall.

Wallapeel was chosen for this exhibition due to the quick installation process; cost-effective nature of the product and easily-removable qualities. Eloise Rowley, gallery manager at Idea Generation was full of praise for the product;

"Wallapeel brought to life Pete Fowler’s out-of-this-world artwork and completely transformed the gallery space. But on top of that, we can now remove the mural when the time comes ourselves at no further cost."

The versatilities of Wallapeel are endless, the V&A Museum - one of the most prestigious listed buildings we have worked with to date – required print cut, removable Wallapeel to all columns. White back printed translucent Manifestations installed to the main glass panels and graduated colour circle translucent prints installed to the cabinet glass doors. No job is too big for Ltd and this is the spectacular result:

Ltd’s reputation-based success is founded on our willingness to always
search for a better way of doing things: we love a challenge, so what challenge can we take on for you?
