Last Friday, Ltd owner Seymour Reeves was given the unique experience of becoming a Zookeeper for the day. Colchester Zoo is more than just a collection of animals, it is a centre for conservation and supports many projects around the world - working to protect endangered species! Colchester Zoo is also working to reduce, reuse and recycle its waste, limiting any contribution to landfill and educating visitors in the process.
Education has an extremely important role to play in conservation and protecting the planet. Seymour was interested, not only to learn about the animals but how the Zoo operates day to day.

Ltd are moving away from the use of heavy solvent inks, thus limiting the VOCs (volatile organic compounds) present, as these chemicals use solvents as a carrier before evaporating into the air we breath. Cotton-based paper is used for wall coverings saving many trees in the process while providing a high quality base for equally high quality prints - colours appear richer and deeper on fabrics woven from cotton compared with synthetics. Finally, the company has been experimenting with 100% recycled rigid boards for mounting services. It's safe to say, Ltd are always moving forward, implementing and improving procedures. Not only to make our clients happy but to make the planet happy too.Image 6: Rhinos at Colchester Zoo |
